Say hello to Kai!!! He is my new soft-mount taxidermy Canadian cross fox done by MidnightWolfDesigns on Etsy! :woohoo:

This is a "teaser" pic; she is almost done with him (he will be getting a larger, fluffier tail), but after that he will be shipping home to me! I could not be happier- he is just gorgeous and I adore his face  I will post more pics once he gets here!

**Disclaimer: I did not kill this fox. If you do not like taxidermy, that's fine, but please refrain from commenting.**

Oh I can't take credit for this! Kai is a soft-mount taxidermy piece done by MidnightWolfDesigns on Etsy; Basically, she takes a tanned pelt (either one you provide or one she finds for you), mounts the head with taxidermy grade supplies (fox form, glass eyes, earliners, etc.) and stretches the body leather to have natural contours. Then she sews and stuffs the body with polyfil to the right density.

If you're interested, her name is Katie and this is her website: [link] :) Hope that helps!

His old tail was second quality (had some slight rubs) and truly didn't match the rest of his fluff. The new one is much fluffier, has no damage, and surprisingly is even a better match color-wise  But thank you! :)

I kept it for my tail collection  It's the top rightmost tail in this photo (and the smallest tail in my collection!): [link]

lol its tiny compared to the others. I actually have no idea about ym cross fox, shes still ahsnt been tanned yet and is waiting fro me to fully pay the guy, so she can be sent to the tannery and than to well, I am still deciding on a taxidermist to have her sent to.
